About Wapo Lodge
The cottage was built in 1970 and has undergone a complete remodel. There are 3,300 square feet of comfortable living space plus a screened in porch. The cottage has a living/dining room, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a full kitchen, sauna, and on-site washer and dryer. The property is located on Lake Wapogasset, just outside of Amery, WI, with beautiful views throughout the house.
The Kitchen
Our fully equipped kitchen, located on the main floor near the craft room, includes 2 coffee makers, espresso machine, microwave, toaster, crock-pot, dishes and utensils, serving platters, pots and pans and a dishwasher. The well water is pure and safe for drinking. The refrigerator includes an ice maker and filtered water. There is also an extra refrigerator in the laundry room to accommodate extra food and drinks. Williams Sonoma Dish soap, Bath and Body Works hand soap, sponges, paper towels, napkins and kitchen garbage bags are all provided.
The Craft Room
Scrapbook, quilt, knit, or create in our spacious main floor living area while enjoying the beautiful lake views and natural light from the large picturesque windows. For unloading and loading supplies you will only have to navigate two small steps to enter the house where you will have direct access to the craft area through the kitchen. We will customize the work stations based on your group’s needs. Craft tables, comfortable work chairs with armrests, and task lamps help make your time here enjoyable and productive. A large, flat screen TV is visible for guests to see from most stations in the craft area.
Bedrooms (5)
Alarm clocks, linens, pillows, blankets and bedspreads are all provided. Each room has a mirror and hairdryer so guests can get ready in their own room, freeing up space in the bathrooms.
The Map Room
On the main floor of the Lodge, you will enjoy this spacious room with private access to the bath. Decorated in a soft blue palette, this room features an antique wall map above the two twin beds. Bright floral patterns enliven the Pottery Barn bedding.
The Lakeview Room
Our most popular room, located on the main floor, boasts views of the lake and sliding patio doors leading to the three season porch. This room has two twin beds with Pottery Barn bedding that can be arranged together to create a king size bed, with memory foam topper, for a cozier evening together.
The Loft (upper room)
Located on the upper level of the Lodge with views of the lake, you will find a fun nautical themed room featuring an orderly arrangement of six twin beds decorated in Tommy Hilfiger jean style bedding and nautical pillows. Vintage lake prints and antique water skis adorn the walls. The loft is perfect for those who like to unwind with friends, quietly chatting over the events of the day.
The Bird’s Nest
Our coziest room, located on the main floor closest to the craft area, brings old world charm with it’s original small plank hardwood floors and painted white fireplace brick. Enjoy the bright afternoon light and bird themed decorations. The two twin beds feature fun bird print Pottery Barn bedding and antique decorative pillows.
The Flag Room (lower level)
Our most private room, located on the lower level with views of the lake, has a comfortable king bed with Stars and Stripes themed bedding and pillows. This room is closest to the sauna and just steps from the walkout door to the backyard and lake.
Lower Bunk Hall
Our most recent addition features four extra-long twin bunk beds located on the lower level, closest to the lower level bath.
